Very high quality leather bonnet and spare wheel straps, with brass buckles at each end, made by local artisans. Usually one narrow strap for spare wheel cover and one wide strap for bonnet. Now with a choice of parallel or tapered style bonnet belt (made to an original Ulster pattern). Each belt has a buckle at each end and long tails for fixing to bodywork. DARK BROWN IN COLOUR.

Alloy oil sump, finned with stiffener webs. Sloped design allows easier removal when engine is in car, fins for cooling and semi-deep so not too much oil to warm up.
Perfect for curing your sump oil leaks, as their solid construction does not buckle like the notorious tin sump’s, when tightening down.
Considerable time has been spent ensuring that a jig was made to accurately locate the sump screw holes on these latest versions.

Note: A flat front spring is used in conjuction with a dropped front axle, which also necessitates the dropping of the radius arms (plates & bolts available on this site) and are usually used in with the 2.5” lowered sports rear springs. (Flat rear springs cannot be used, as under load they would soon go into negative camber).
Pair of Short Chassis, High Frame, Rear Leaf Springs 6” Camber. These fit all standard model, short wheel base saloons & tourers etc eg Chummy, RF, RK, RL, RM etc. (Please see our 6.5” springs for later long wheel base cars and 3.5” for jewel series etc).
All springs come pre-drilled and threaded at the bush ends to accept the provided grease nipples.

These gaskets have been proven to be superb at helping ensure leak free oil sump’s on your Austin 7’s.
These should be fitted ensuring both surfaces are clean, dry and completely free of oil. If you like the very faintest trace of blue Hermitite can be used on one side to hold the gasket in place.

Fits all standard models eg Chummy, Box Saloon etc over all years for long and short wheelbase cars. (Originally pre 1928 would have 5 leaf as opposed to 8, with same camber. However original thicknesses of material are no longer available and 8 leaf seems to be the option preferred by most.)

Is is not recommended to fit completely flat rear springs as they could go into reverse camber and upset the handling. 2.5” is fairly flat and will settle further.
